PASTOR SAMUEL BERRY III
Pastor Samuel Berry III was born on September 1, 1975 to the union of Reverend Samuel Berry Jr & Carolyn Berry. On September 21, 1996, Samuel made one of the best decisions he could have ever made, he married Lakisha Monique Jackson.
In 2003 after much consideration Elder Samuel Berry III, was elected as Senior Pastor of New Corinth Missionary Baptist Church, Detroit MI. When Elder Berry was appointed as Pastor, the church had an active 25 persons who attended morning worship. During his tenure with New Corinth the church grew rapidly expanding to two worship services and more than 300 members on role.
In August 2023, an extraordinary chapter unfolded in the remarkable journey of Pastor Samuel Berry III's ministry. With unwavering faith and a heart committed to service, Pastor Berry was chosen as the new spiritual leader of Praise Tabernacle International in Plantation, Florida, ushering in a wave of inspiration and blessings for the congregation and the entire community.
FIRST LADY LAKISHA M. BERRY
Elder Lady Lakisha Berry, a native of Detroit, Michigan the second child born to the union of Walter and Geraldine Jackson and proud mother of three. She is also known as, the “Prophetic Worshipper” because of the manifestation of the glory of God that is revealed in the lives of those who hear her sing and speak.
She is a minister of the Gospel, raised up by God for such a time as this; to usher in the transforming power of the Lord through the Ministry of Worship and the Preaching of the Gospel. Lady Berry serves faithfully alongside of her husband at their most recent assignment at Praise Tabernacle International Church.
Lady Lakisha Berry values education and is actively pursuing her Bachelor’s in Science degree in Education Teaching K-6. Her heart for children and women is displayed in the time she spends ministering, cultivating those whom the Lord empowers her to mentor and mother.
